The range of clear polycarbonate sheets present in our stores are very flexible and versatile which means that they can be cut, drilled,shaped to different sizes.  This Solid Polycarbonate has a thickness of between 2 mm & 10mm  The material is of excellent quality and easy to handle and fit for alterations such as cutting,  drilling and sawing. This polycarbonate sheet is covered by a protective film on both sides.

Weather-resistant
This Solid Polycarbonate is opposing to extreme weather conditions and UV. It can have a life of about 15 – 20 years when used outside and is completely durable in all weathers. The excellent strength of it is one of the reasons it is used for outdoor application such as windbreaks and skylights etc. For these purposes, it also helps that Solid Polycarbonate is UV and weather resistant. Its thick surface doesn’t allow the water and dust to stick with it. Therefore Regular cleaning with an anti-static plastic cleaner is recommended to avoid the sheet from attracting dust.

Strength and Weight 
The Polycarbonate sheet or Solid Polycarbonate weighs about half of regular glass i.e. 50% less than regular glass, and still, it is a stronger as compared to glass, the sheet is almost  30 times as force resistant. You need a lot of force in order to break that Polycarbonate sheet. Although it is not easy to break the sheet or Solid Polycarbonate when it breaks, It does not break like the pieces of glasses but it breaks like a clean line. The Polycarbonate sheet is more transparent than glass as it allows more light to pass through it. This will be especially apparent when comparing thicker Polycarbonate and glass sheets.
